Hello everyone!! I'll start by stating the obvious. . . its been awhile since i updated. My sis informed me today that some people do get tired of lookin' at the same thing all time! So I guess I'll update to please her!! I've been busy doing school, I made a 100% on my last chemistry test!!! Talk about make my day!! I had fun last wk-end with Shalom's youth @ their cabin wk-end. My dad was their speaker for the wk-end so they invited our youth group to spend the day Saturday. Fun times times playin' the longest game of trees I've ever played in my life, round town (ping pong), vball, and good food. Tommorow eve. our youth starts kids clubs @ our church. We usually pick up kids that live in the welfare housing @ around 6:00 p.m. and drop them back off around 7:30 p.m. n clubs are usually every Thursday from November till the wk before Easter. This year Crissy and I are teachin the 6-10 year olds. If you think about it ya'll can pray that I would be able to come up w/ creative and interestin' lessons and that I would be able to have a special patience w/ the kids! Anyways theres a small portion of whats been up in my life! Keep lookin' up!! Karisa

    ARMS OF LOVE

I sing a simple song of love
To my Savior, to my Jesus.
I'm grateful for the things You've done,
My loving Savior, my precious Jesus.

My heart is glad that You've called me Your own.
There's no place I'd rather be than

    In Your arms of love,
    In Your arms of love.
Holding me still, holding me near,
    In Your arms of love

Hey peoples,  its been awhile! I've definetly been busy . . . and thats a good thing! School started 2 wks ago, and so far I'm enjoying my senior year! I have chemistry, english, civics/economics, spanish, and computer class. (online thru pa college of technology) I'll even probably get to take a class on digital imaging! I'm going to Heritage Bible School (hopefully. . . if I get accepted!!) for both terms in Jan-Feb. So, I have to do 6 wks worth of extra bookwork in all my stuff. . . which should'nt be a problem, since most of my stuff isn't TOO difficult! I've also been cleaning, babysitting and working at the Ice Shack.

Awesome song that I've been thinking about a lot lately. . . .okay its been stuck in my head!!

"I can only imagine what it will be like, when I walk by Your side...
I can only imagine, what my eyes will see, when Your Face is before me!
I can only imagine. I can only imagine.

Surrounded by Your Glory, what will my heart feel?
Will I dance for you, Jesus? Or in awe of You, be still?
Will I stand in Your presence, or to my knees will I fall?
Will I sing 'Hallelujah!'? Will I be able to speak at all?
I can only imagine! I can only imagine!

I can only imagine, when that day comes, when I find myself standing in the Son!
I can only imagine, when all I will do, is forever, forever worship You!
I can only imagine! I can only imagine!

Yeah! I can only imagine!

Yeah! I can only imagine!

I can only imagine! Yeah! I can only imagine!! Only imagine!!!
    I can only imagine.

I can only imagine, when all I do is forever, forever worship You!
    I can only imagine."

  •      Cry Out to Jesus- Third Day
To everyone who's lost someone they love
Long before it was their time
You feel like the days you had were not enough
    when you said goodbye

And to all of the people with burdens and pains
Keeping you back from your life
You believe that there's nothing and there is no one
    Who can make it right

    Chorus:
There is hope for the helpless
    Rest for the weary
And love for the broken heart
    There is grace and forgiveness
    Mercy and healing
He'll meet you wherever you are
Cry out to Jesus, Cry out to Jesus

For the marriage that's struggling just to hang on
They've lost all of their faith in love
And they've done all they can to make it right again
    Still it's not enough

For the ones who can't break the addictions and chains
You try to give up but you come back again
Just remember that you're not alone in your shame
    And your suffering

    Chorus:

    When your lonely
And it feels like the whole world is falling on you
You just reach out, you just cry out to Jesus
    Cry to Jesus

To the widow who suffers with being alone
Wiping the tears from her eyes
For the children around the world without a home
    Say a prayer tonight
Yesterday around 11:45 my only grandpa still alive (besides great grandpa) died. H. Ray Martin, he was only 61 and it was a total shock to EVERYONE we had no warning whatsoever, its hard! very hard! I feel so blessed for all the good memories we've had with them in the last year and half since they moved up to pa. but to think that i'll never see him again on this side of heaven, is so very sad. i think ive cried more in the last day then i have in my life. . . and i know theres more tears to come as we try to settle into a "new" normal. we all are used to seeing pap-pap every day, talking to him, playing ball with him, and all the little things in between. and now he's gone. . .forever on this earth.  please pray for my family and especially my grandma. also pray that we would be able to contact tresa soon. . . she still hasnt heard the news as she is on a river trip in the middle of nowhere with no way to reach her unless we go find her. its gonna be so hard for her!          karisa

    HERE'S WHAT I'VE BEEN DOING LATELY . . . MEMORIZING big time!!!

i memorized this story for ace convention, and even though its longish its a very worthwhile read!!!! it was written by a 17 year old boy named Brian Moore. who just 2 months after writing it, was killed when his car ran into a utility pole on his way home from a friends house Brian Moore emerged from the wreck unharmed only to step on a downed power line and be electrocuted!!!  this is his view of heaven. . . . .

        The Room. . . . . .
In that place between wakefulness and dreams, I found myself in the room. There
were no distinguishing features except for the one wall covered with small index card files. They were like the ones in libraries that list titles by author or subject in alphabetical order. But these files, which stretched from floor to ceiling and seemingly endless in either direction, had very different headings. As I drew near the wall of files, the first to catch my attention was one that read 'Boys I Have Liked.' I opened it and began flipping through the cards. I quickly shut it, shocked to realize that I recognized the names written on each one. And then without being told, I knew exactly where I was.
This lifeless room with its small files was a crude catalog system for my life. Here were written the actions of my every moment, big and small, in a detail my memory couldn't match. A sense of wonder and curiosity, coupled with horror, stirred within me as I began randomly opening files and exploring their content. Some brought joy and sweet memories; others a sense of shame and regret so intense that I would look over my shoulder to see if anyone was watching.
A file named 'Friends' was next to one marked 'Friends I Have Betrayed.' The titles ranged from the mundane to the outright weird 'Books I Have Read,' 'Lies I Have Told,' 'Comfort I Have Given,' 'Jokes I Have Laughed At.' Some were almost hilarious in their exactness: 'Things I've Yelled At My Sisters.' Others I couldn't laugh at: 'Things I Have Done In My Anger', 'Things I Have Muttered Under My Breath At My Parents.' I never ceased to be surprised by the contents.
Often there were many more cards than I expected. Sometimes fewer than I hoped. I was overwhelmed by the sheer volume of the life I had lived. Could it be possible that I had the time in my years to fill each of these thousands or even millions of cards? But each card confirmed this truth. Each was written in my own handwriting. Each signed with my signature.
When I pulled out the file marked 'Movies I Have Watched', I realized the files grew to contain their contents. The cards were packed tightly and yet after two or three yards, I hadn't found the end of the file. I shut it, shamed, not so much by the quality of shows but more by the vast wasted time I knew that file represented.
When I came to a file marked 'Lustful Thoughts,' I felt a chill run through my body. I pulled the file out only an inch, not willing to test its size and drew out a card. I shuddered at its detailed content.
I felt sick to think that such a moment had been recorded. An almost animal rage broke on me. One thought dominated my mind: No one must ever see these cards! No one must ever see this room! I have to destroy them!' In insane frenzy I yanked the file out. Its size didn't matter now. I had to empty it and burn the cards. But as I took it at one end and began pounding it on the floor, I could not dislodge a single card. I became desperate and pulled out a card, only to find it as strong as steel when I tried to tear it.

Defeated and utterly helpless, I returned the file to its slot. Leaning my forehead against the wall, I let out a long, self-pitying sigh.
And then I saw it. The title was 'People I Have Shared the Gospel With.' The handle was brighter than those around it, newer, almost unused. I pulled on its handle and a small box not more than three inches long fell into my hands. I could count the cards it contained on one hand.
And then the tears came. I began to weep. Sobs so deep that they hurt. They started in my stomach and shook through me. I fell on my knees and cried. I cried out of shame, from the overwhelming shame of it all. The rows of file shelves swirled in my tear-filled eyes. No one must ever, ever know of this room. I must lock it up and hide the key. But then as I pushed away the tears, I saw Him.
No, please not Him. Not here. Oh, anyone but Jesus. I watched helplessly as He began to open the files and read the cards I couldn't bear to watch His response. And in the moments I could bring myself to look at His face, I saw a sorrow deeper than my own.
He seemed to intuitively go to the worst boxes. Why did He have to read every one? Finally He turned and looked at me from across the room. He looked at me with pity in His eyes. But this was a pity that didn't anger me. I dropped my head, covered my face with my hands and began to cry again. He walked over and put His arm around me. He could have said so many things. But He didn't say a word. He just cried with me.

Then He got up and walked back to the wall of files. Starting at one end of the room, He took out a file and, one by one, began to sign His name over mine on each card. 'No!' I shouted rushing to Him. All I could find to say was 'No, no,' as I pulled the card from Him. His name shouldn't be on these cards. But there it was, written in red so rich, so dark, so alive. The name of Jesus covered mine. It was written with His blood. He gently took the card back. He smiled a sad smile and began to sign the cards. I don't think I'll ever understand how He did it so quickly, but the next instant it seemed I heard Him close the last file and walk back to my side.
He placed His hand on my shoulder and said, 'It is finished.' I stood up, and He led me out of the room. There was no lock on its door. There were still cards to be written
    .

ya'll have an amazing day!!! -karisa

A Look Into The Future--Clinton Found Lacking.

Hillary Rodham Clinton has been found pickling in her own brine (so to speak), and becoming more bitter for it. In yesterday's presidential election where Mrs. Clinton lost to Barack Obama by a landslide of electoral votes. She was seen ripping her suit, tearing at her hair and screaming threats at the general public. Later when Mrs. Clinton had been reduced to angry tears in her private office, she was heard saying, and I quote, "To think that the American people would elect such a Hussein as Obama as the Head of the United States of America is absolutely scandalous. But let it be known I am not finished!" Information has also been released stating that know that the election is over the Clintons are actively pursuing a legal divorce. Do we the esteemed public of the United States of America ever want this women, Hillary Rodham Clinton to be our Chief Protector, Leader, and Head of Foreign Affairs? I will leave this question and its answer up to you!

Wow that was fun!!!! By the way some of that is actually stuff Hillary Clinton said, like in one of the debates between her and Obama she compared Obama to Hussein.

Anyways i passed my hardest ever p. science with a good grade no less!!!!! yes i'm so excited!!! Also i applied for a job at weis markets and so far they had me answer a 60 question questionnaire thingie, man that took forever. I hope that means maybe possibly they'll hire me!?!?! I also tried at oakridge but apparently they don't know wether or not they are hiring. Okay whatever ya say!! Anyways ya'll have an awesome God filled day!!! btw someday I will post pics.

A friend emailed me this. i . . .um. . .find it amusing!!!!

    You Just Can't Fix Stupid!!

ONE Recently, when I went to McDonald's I saw on the menu that you could have an order of 6, 9 or 12 Chicken McNuggets. I asked for a half dozen nuggets. "We don't have half dozen nuggets," said the teenager at the counter. "You don't?" I replied. "We only have six, nine, or twelve," was the reply. "So I can't order a half dozen nuggets, but I can order six?" "That's right." So I shook my head and ordered six McNuggets

TWO I was checking out at the local Wal-Mart with just a few items and the lady behind me put her things on the belt close to mine. I picked up one of those "dividers" that they keep by the cash register and placed it between our things so they wouldn't get mixed. After the girl had scanned all of my items, she
picked up the "divider", looking it all over for the bar code so she could scan it. Not finding the bar code she said to me, "Do you know how much this is?" I said to her "I've changed my mind, I don't think I'll buy that today." She said "OK," and I paid her for the things and left. She had no clue to what had just happened.

THREE A lady at work was seen putting a credit card into her floppy drive and pulling it out very quickly. When I inquired as to
what she was doing, she said she was shopping on the Internet and they kept asking for a credit card number, so she was using the ATM "thingy."

FOUR I recently saw a distraught young lady weeping beside her car. " Do you need some help?" I asked. She replied, "I knew I should have replaced the battery to this remote door unlocker. Now I can't get into my car. Do you think they (pointing to a distant convenience store) would have a battery to fit this?" "Hmmm,
I dunno. Do you have an alarm, too?" I asked. "No, just this remote thingy," she answered, handing it and the car keys to me. As I took the key and manually unlocked the door, I replied, "Why don't you drive over there and check about the batteries. It's a long walk."

FIVE Several years ago, we had an Intern who was none too swift. One day she was typing and turned to a secretary and said, "I'm almost out of typing paper. What do I do?" "Just use copier machine paper," the secretary told her. With that, the intern took her last remaining blank piece of paper, put it on the photocopier and proceeded to make five "blank" copies.

SIX I was in a car dealership a while ago, when a large motor home was towed into the garage. The front of the vehicle was in dire need of repair and the whole thing generally looked like an extra in "Twister." I asked the manager what had happened. He told me that the driver had set the "cruise control" and then went in the back to make a sandwich.

SEVEN My neighbor works in the operations department in the central office of a large bank.. Employees in the field call him when they have problems with their computers. One night he got a call from a woman in one of the branch banks who had this question: "I've got smoke coming from the back of my terminal. Do you guys have a fire downtown?"

EIGHT Police in Radnor , Pa. interrogated a suspect by placing a metal colander on his head and connecting it with wires to a photocopy machine. The message "He's lying" was placed in the copier, and police pressed the copy button each time they thought the suspect wasn't telling the truth. Believing the "lie detector" was working, the suspect confessed.

A Time to Dance (Women of Faith Fiction #1)

This is amazing that someone even thought of this!

    Dancing With God
When I meditated on the word   Guidance,
I kept seeing "dance" at the end of the word.
I remember reading that doing God's will is a lot like dancing.
When two people try to lead, nothing feels right.
The movement doesn't flow with the music,
and everything is quite uncomfortable and jerky.
When one person realizes that, and lets the other lead,
both bodies begin to flow with the music.
One gives gentle cues, perhaps with a nudge to the back
or by pressing Lightly in one direction or another.
It's as if two become one body, moving beautifully.
    The dance takes surrender, willingness,
    and attentiveness from one person
and gentle guidance and skill from the other.
My eyes drew back to the word  Guidance.
When I saw "G": I thought of God, followed by "u" and "i".
    "God, "u" and "i" dance."
    God, you, and I dance.
As I lowered my head, I became willing to trust
that I would get  guidance about my life.
Once again, I be came willing to let God lead.
My prayer for you today is that God's blessings
and mercies are upon you on this day and everyday.
May you abide in God, as God   abides in you.
Dance together with God, trusting God to lead
and to guide you through each season of your life.
This prayer is powerful and there is nothing attached.
If God has done anything for   you in your life,
please share this message with someone else.
    There is no cost but a lot of rewards;
so let's continue to pray for one another.
And I Hope You Dance !

"I have held many things in my hands, and have lost them all. But whatever I put in God's hands, that is what still possess!!

This is so cool ive read it so many times. Just think GUIDANCE, "God, "u"and "i". God, you and I! amazing!!
